Katie Winter Photography 2019

That's me

I am a natural light loving, non-shoe-wearing, tea drinking, wedding photographer based in the South Coast of England and I have the best job in the world. I have been photographing weddings for the past 7 years and have loved every second. Over that time I have worked, trained and played to make sure I can offer the highest standard of work whilst ensuring that everyone still has a good giggle!

As you might have already realised, I LOVE weddings. I am a true romantic and put my heart and soul into getting to know each couple I work with. This allows me to capture those precious moments that I believe will hold the most emotional value to you both. These moments may not always be the prettiest or most 'photogenic' but are by far the most important. The little smile you give your dad before you take that walk, your Nan's tears during the ceremony; the tiny fleeting moments which would so quickly be forgotten. When you receive your photographs you will see your amazing wedding day, captured with honesty, emotion and a whole lot of heart!

FAQ's

How many images will we get?

This will really depend on the day itself and the hours of coverage, for a full day wedding you will receive between 500 - 800 images (more if you have a second shooter)

When will we receive our images?

I always try and post some preview photos for couples within a few days of the wedding, that way the first photos you share will be professional ones of you both looking gorgeous! The rest of the images will be with you within 8 weeks. You will receive some surprises along the way, and a link to your online gallery which you can share with family and friends.

How far in advance do we need to book?

As soon as you know your wedding date. If you know you would like me for your wedding then send over a message as I often book up to 2 years in advance and hate turning couples away.

With your relaxed style can we still do couple/group photos?

Group photos are also really important, it's not often you have all your favourite people in one place! But I do suggest we keep group shots to a minimum of 8 so you have time to enjoy the day. It's also great to have some time with the two of you, in the moment rather than overly posing.

Who is your second photographer?

My main second photographer is Dan Todd, he is also a wedding photographer and videographer. Dan knows what I need before I do and is great to have around. If he is unavailable I have lots of lovely, equally talented wedding photographer friends who are happy to help out.

What about videographers?

I do not currently offer a videography service however I am always happy to work along side them. I can even recommend some amazing videographers if you are not sure where to start.

Do you only photograph weddings in Hampshire?

Absolutely not, my job takes me all over the place. I am always happy to drive, fly or train my way to your destination. If you are having a wedding outside of the UK then get in touch and we can discuss pricing and details.

What if something goes wrong?

No photographer can tell you that nothing will go wrong, technology is unpredictable. What I can tell you is that I will arrive at your wedding with not 2 but 3 cameras, numerous cards, lenses and batteries. Let your mind rest knowing that I have everything covered!

How do we enquire?

Fill in your details on the contact page and we will organise an informal chat, be it over the phone or over a slice of cake. If you want to book then I'll send over my contract and ask you to complete the £200 deposit.

Any more questions? Send a message through the contact page, I am happy to answer (no matter how silly they may seem)
