Have been quite excited to blog an early preview of some of the photos from Terri and Matt's wedding day. When I met them quite some time ago it was clear that we all clicked pretty quickly (pardon the pun), especially as Matt is actually a photographer himself. I wont lie, it is a little pressure when you find out that the Groom and the Best men are frequent wedding photographers, but everyone was so relaxed and lovely on the day it was so easy for me to do my job, and their trust in me to document their day was also quite a nice confidence boost! BUT enough about that, and more about the day! I started with Terri, her bridesmaids, lovely little boy, and some family members with their preparations. It was a lovely atmosphere with lots of fizz, cakes and scones (always a nice bonus), and gave us a lovely setting to get some shots of hair and makeup and the dress and details. I have to admit, Terri's hair was a work of art in itself, and instantly gave me an insight into the rustic, natural theme which would spread throughout the day. Then it was off on a nice scenic drive to the Sustainability centre and boy was I pleased when I arrived. The sun was shining and the location was completely beautiful, definitely going on the list of my favourite venues! I met with my second shooter Kate, who had been with Matt and his groomsmen all morning, and we spent the next few hours photographing a beautiful family coming together in a completely wonderful wedding. We ended the day at the Langstone Hotel in Hayling Island, with some confetti canons and coloured smoke flares.
